Emily Kneisler | Performance
Statera Foundation is excited to host the inaugural performance of, "The Red Thread", created and performed by Christine Jugueta and directed by Jacqueline Stone on Thursday, October 4, 2018. Christine will be joined by Belinda Yamate (Vocalist, Co-Producer), Emily Kneisler (Stage Manager, Production Assistant), Grover Hollway (Sound), Magdalena Sustere (Cellist, Bassist), Marcya Daneille (Vocalist), Mitch Shiner (Vibraphonist, Percussionist, Bassist), Penny Larson (Drummer, Percussionist), Stephanie Lippert (Keyboardist, Vocalist), and Kiki West (Videographer).
Emily Kneisler is a senior music major at Sam Houston State University and is currently working to get her Bachelors of Arts in Music. She is an opera singer turned stage manager who has been working with the School of Music Opera Program and the Department of Dance as an assistant director and stage manager for the past year and a half. After performing roles in L’Enfant et les Sortileges, The Sacrifice of Berenice, and Speed Dating Tonight, she decided to venture over into the world of production. Some of her past stage manager credits include Hansel & Gretel by Humperdinck and Dido & Aeneas by Purcell, both in combination with SHSU Opera & Dance. This past summer Emily also traveled to Japan with SHSU Opera & Dance to manage an international collaboration of Dido & Aeneas at Kobe College in Nishinomiya. She is extremely excited to take on such a unique project like THE RED THREAD and cannot wait to venture more into the world of musical theater.
