The American Sweethearts trio is heading to Georgia! Dive into an incredible era of energy and transition with this special preview of the Norman Rockwell exhibit. Sip cocktails with friends while eating passed hors d'oeuvres, view the anticipated exhibit featuring Rockwell’s illustrations during the 1940s, learn from UWG art professor Perry Kirk as he helps to frame Rockwell's body of work in the context of early 20th Century graphic art, while introducing some of the Rockwell’s fellow commercial artists and their impact on American culture at the time. Then enter the Danny Mabry Theatre and listen to the swinging sounds of female close harmony group – America's Sweethearts bringing great vintage songs (many from the Andrews Sisters) with fresh new vocals that will charm audiences of all ages. Come in your favorite forties attire and let’s “boogie woogie” the night away together.
