Tony Sloan (he/him) is a Kansas City based generative theatre artist with a focus on socially and politically driven work and artistic entrepreneurship. Originally from the Chicago area, Tony moved to Arizona when he was a teen and attended college at Southern Utah University where he holds a B.S. in Theatre Arts with a minor in Political Science, and a M.A. in Arts Administration. Tony’s recent stage work includes his autobiographical solo performance piece In Just My Underwear (KC Fringe), In Confidence (Whim Productions), The Tempest (Utah Shakespeare Festival Tour), and The Laramie Project (Southern Utah University). Currently, Tony is working on creating more original and generative pieces and exploring new frontiers among the arts. Aside from art, Tony works in retail management and as a spin instructor. He enjoys walks around museums, eclectic bars, dogs, and smooth glasses of wine.
