Belinda Yamate | Performance
Statera Foundation is excited to host the inaugural performance of, "The Red Thread", created and performed by Christine Jugueta and directed by Jacqueline Stone on Thursday, October 4, 2018. Christine will be joined by Belinda Yamate (Vocalist, Co-Producer), Emily Kneisler (Stage Manager, Production Assistant), Grover Hollway (Sound), Magdalena Sustere (Cellist, Bassist), Marcya Daneille (Vocalist), Mitch Shiner (Vibraphonist, Percussionist, Bassist), Penny Larson (Drummer, Percussionist) and Stephanie Lippert (Keyboardist, Vocalist).
Belinda Yamate is a music and voice over recording artist. She is a graduate of the Actor Training Program at the Pacific Conservatory for the Performing Arts (PCPA) and holds a BFA in Music Theater from Roosevelt University in Chicago, IL.
She has been a featured soprano with various choirs in San Francisco, CA, and was the first vocalist to ever work with the Napa Valley Jazz Ensemble, a big band era collective. She has also performed in the corps for the West Edge Opera company in Berkeley, CA, has been a featured vocalist at the Presbyterian Church of St. Helena, CA, has written and recorded with EDM producer Derek Ryan, and was a collaborator and vocalist for A Mused Collective's original modern dance piece, "Sincerely Rescripted." Belinda has been collaborating with Christine Jugueta on various projects, from writing songs to creating dance pieces, since 1992, and is thrilled to join forces with her again on THE RED THREAD.
