She graduated from Southern Utah University with a BFA in Musical Theatre Performance where she created, produced, and performed a one-woman show titled Who Am I. With the help of some incredible collaborators, she was able to take her show to NYC and perform off-Broadway at Theatre Row for several esteemed vocal coaches and directors.
Following graduation, she created The Traveling Music Studio. Providing private voice lessons to aspiring youth in the Southern Utah Area, she emphasizes healthy vocal habits that are grounded in active, driven storytelling.
Courtney has been singing her whole life and fell in love with acting at the age of 12. Since then she has performed all over the Midwest and in several cities on the East Coast. In 2018 she had the incredible experience of participating in the Utah Shakespeare Fellowship Program, where she created and performed original vocal compositions for The Merchant of Venice.
Networking, collaborating, and community building make up important pieces of who Courtney is as an artist and she is proud to join the StateraArts team.
